Unlike conventional synthesizers, Steampipe has no oscillators — instead, it mimics the way sound is created in wind and string instruments. With 8-voice polyphony, extensive modulation options, and rich organic overtones, Steampipe is designed for expressive performance, especially with wind MIDI controllers, while remaining versatile for any MIDI keyboard setup.
