Need help?
The Triton Audio FetHead Transformer is a premium in-line microphone preamp that combines clean Class A amplification with the rich sonic character of a custom Lundahl transformer. Designed for dynamic and passive ribbon microphones, it provides up to 28 dB of ultra-low-noise gain while adding subtle analogue warmth, enhanced low-frequency response and smooth harmonic coloration. Powered entirely by standard 24–48 V phantom power, the FetHead Transformer safely blocks phantom voltage from reaching the connected microphone, making it an ideal choice for studio recording, broadcasting, podcasting and live sound applications where transparent gain with a touch of transformer character is desired.
