The KORG volca kick is a compact analogue kick synthesizer designed to create powerful bass drums, deep basslines and unique analogue percussion using the resonant filter circuitry inspired by KORG's legendary MS-20 synthesizer. Rather than relying on sampled sounds, the volca kick generates rich, dynamic tones through analogue synthesis, offering extensive control over pitch, resonance and drive. Combined with a versatile 16-step sequencer, motion sequencing and touch-controlled performance features, it is an expressive instrument for electronic music production, live performance and DAWless setups.
