Yamaha DM5 Compact (DM5C) is a professional Dante-equipped digital mixing console designed for live sound, theatres, broadcast facilities, houses of worship, corporate events and space-conscious installations. It provides 48 mono input channels, 16 analogue inputs, 16 analogue outputs, 64-in / 64-out Dante networking and an 18-in / 18-out USB audio interface in a compact, rack-mountable format. A 13.3-inch multi-touch display, additional 4.3-inch control display and 13 motorised faders provide fast, intuitive access to mixing, processing and system-control functions.

• Shape each input with four-band parametric EQ, selectable high-pass filtering, two dynamics stages and flexible processing order, with an RTA overlay supporting quick visual adjustment.
• Apply reverbs, delays, modulation effects and other processing from the built-in rack containing 43 effect types and 16 available processing resources.
• Manage panel discussions, conferences, worship services and spoken-word events using the integrated 12-channel Dan Dugan Automixer, with additional automixing capacity available through an optional licence.
• Connect digital stage boxes and networked audio equipment through the integrated 64-in / 64-out Dante interface, including primary and secondary connections for redundant network configurations.
• Record and play up to 18 channels through USB, capture larger multitrack productions through Dante and Nuendo Live, or create simple stereo recordings using compatible USB storage.
• Prepare a mix with previously recorded tracks through Virtual Soundcheck, allowing the sound system to be configured without requiring performers to remain on stage.
• Store up to 500 scenes and use Recall Safe, Focus Recall, selective loading and Global Paste functions to manage repeatable productions and complex show changes.
• Install an optional PY card to add MADI, AES/EBU, Dante sample-rate conversion, MIDI/GPI connectivity or additional Premium Rack processing.
• Prepare and manage sessions from a computer using DM Editor, mix remotely with DM StageMix and provide personal monitor control through MonitorMix.
• Install the console in a portable or permanent equipment rack using the optional RK5 kit, making it suitable for compact control rooms, mobile systems and installed sound applications.
