REMIX Gavilēju!
Attention, all producers, all beatmakers, all remixers — this is an open call from DEFSET, something you should get used to. You are hereby invited to join the very first DEFSET Remix Battle in collaboration with Novation to honor the launch of defset.eu.
The Rules.
The rules are simple — do the best possible remix for Ods’ track "Gavilēju" (featuring goča). We provide the acapella (145 BPM), you do the rest — compose, sample, chop, screw, whatever; just be ready to get creative and blow minds. It is also mandatory to have fun.
You have two whole weeks until the deadline (27-01-26).
The battle will be judged by ansis, Kristaps Ritms, Ods, and goča, and winners will be awarded a valuable prize — the Novation Circuit Rhythm sampler / groovebox! Also, you get a hat.
When you’re done, export your Ods remix to mp3 and send it to ansis@defset.eu with the subject line "DEFSET remix battle submission" along with your artist name and a few lines about yourself so that we get to know each other a little bit (Latvian or English, please). We’ll send you a confirmation to let you know your submission was received and accepted.
